Accounts Receivable Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will serve as the main point of contact for payment of all
wholesale orders. Your role encompasses financial transactions, managing term payments, financial
reporting, and customer experience, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to our growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES:
1. Manage billing processes from start to finish, including invoicing, payment processing, and
reconciliations.
2. Accurately enter and maintain customer billing information in the company database.
3. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding billing issues, payment status,
and account balances.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer concerns in a
timely manner.
5. Assist in developing and implementing billing procedures and policies to improve efficiency and
accuracy.
6. Generate reports and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
7. Maintain confidentiality and security of customer billing information at all times.
8. Lead weekly billing operations, including data collection, forecasting, and reporting
9. Conduct weekly audits on billing statuses.
10. Process and bill wholesale orders accurately and efficiently.
11. Handle credit card transactions, PayPal invoicing, and payment scheduling.
12. Manage orders on term agreements to collect payments when due
13. Communicate with stores regarding payment issues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Strong written and spoken English skills.
Proficiency in creating documents and spreadsheets using Google Workspace.
Solid PC skills.
Previous experience with Zendesk is a plus
Previous experience with accounts receivable and/or payment collection a plus

Reliable internet connection for remote work.
Ability to participate in virtual meetings using Zoom and Google Meet.Ability to maintain a professional
and serviceoriented demeanor when interacting with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
Ability to diagnose problems and find solutions.
Ability to perform indepth market research.
Knowledge of current sales pricing trends.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Three or more years of sales experience within a similar industry, required.
High school diploma, required.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
Physical Demands: The essential functions of the position may require frequent sitting, repetitive use of both
hands and finger dexterity with both hands, near/far visual acuity, depth perception, field of vision,
accommodation and color vision; occasional walking, and standing; seldom reaching overhead, bending over,
lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs., and driving a vehicle.

Mental Demands: The essential functions of the position require the ability to read and write complex material,
perform simple and complex math calculations, and the ability to perform simple and complex tasks; perform
clerical functions, compile and analyze information; coordinate activities, supervise and instruct others; follow
instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, memorization, problem solving through use of
independent judgment and decisionmaking skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud and the employee usually works in a
climatecontrolled environment. Work may entail the use of computer equipment. The employee works
alone, with others, around others, with verbal and facetoface contact. Ability to work a flexible schedule
including weekends, evenings and holidays.
