As we continue our growth movement, we need a stellar Billing & Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This valuable team member will bridge the gap between our online website and our wholesale orders coming in from local yarn stores. This great communicator will use their strong organizational skills to seek out answers and provide timely responses to both our in-house team and our customers. Works with a wide variety of stakeholders and a really fun team!

Customer Service

● Manage Zendesk – holiday, automated responses, tags ● Answer all emails coming in from our retail customers ● Follow up on issues in Customer Service slack channel ● Facilitate donation requests ● Report zendesk statistics ● Return calls to direct sale customers ● Create messaging for customers when orders are delayed ● Creative solutions in concert with the direct sales team to make sure customers have a positive solution to their issues ● Must have generally knitting knowledge and be able to answer basic pattern questions

Billing

● Process and record payments for wholesale ● Great customer service on calls and in email about wholesale billing, passing along all pertinent information to the team ● Good steward of customers financial information ● Strong communication about international and domestic billing issues and multiple forms of payment with both internal and external stakeholders ● Maintaining Billing spreadsheet – ability to report numbers from the spreadsheet daily ● Meet billing goals weekly ● Proactively communicating with shops about pre-orders, and potential issues ● Follow up on any billing issues/errors after monthly audit is complete ● Audit and report weekly on payment statuses in Desktop ● Working closely with the Finishing Team to make sure orders are shipped within 24 hours of payment, identify wire transfers early, and out of process solutions ● Creating positive solutions for out of process billing requests

Other duties as needed! The reality is that we are a small team and there are lots of opportunities to do special projects, other work, explore other positions and grow! Willingness to be flexible and try things highly necessary. The team is remote so strong internet connection is required and the ability to zoom and google meet often. Must have strong skills in English both speaking and written. Creating documents and spreadsheets in google, and strong PC skills are required. Previous use of zendesk is a plus.
