Costume Design Professor

Teaching opportunity / Posted 4 weeks ago by Deborah Jolly Holcomb

Greetings from Ohio University School of Theater!

I hope all are happy and healthy in your world!

I’m writing because we are searching for a new costume design professor at Ohio University, and have extended the search to April 29th.

In addition to teaching costume design and costume history, this position would be part of a broad costume department where mentorship responsibilities of our MFA and BFA students is shared with a faculty costume technician and an instructional staff costume crafts artisan.

Please feel free to forward this on to anyone who might be a possible candidate. We’re especially interested in a broad and diverse pool of candidates and voices, and are interested in considering current practicing artists in the profession as well as those more experienced in higher ed.

The full job posting is here. I’ve also attached info sheets about the program and the School of Theater to this email. Our website also has more information.

Thank you so much in advance and please don’t hesitate to contact me or encourage potential applicants to contact me directly with any questions.
