Kristine has always loved fabric. She started sewing as a child, studied textile history, then fell in love with Indian fabrics during her own Indian wedding. Loom & Stars was founded in 2018 to connect modern makers with heritage fabrics while supporting the artisans who make them. The shop is now located in New York City in a tiny space that’s stuffed with the best in beautiful, sustainable natural fibers from India and Japan.
