I love embroidery and textiles, people, parties, good food and inclusive conversations.
I am a life-long learner, a DIY enthusiast, a devoted art and craft practitioner, accidental educator,
equal parts hobbyist, student, and professional.

Embroidery art is culturally expressive, both structural and ornamental.
Embroidery techniques are traditional, historic, and local.
They are also very modern, experimental, and global.
I truly enjoy working with my hands.
The practices of embroidery allow me to explore slow and meditative handcrafting
in an unapologetic way.

At present, I am emerging from solo and solitary practices into joining creative communities where celebrating
handwork, embellishments, and wearable art is the norm.
