Janet Lutz is the owner Calico Gals, Inc – quilt shop and sewing machines in Syracuse NY and Row by Row Experience – summer shopping experience for travelers.

She says, “As part of my goal to bring customers into independent businesses to experience the unique atmosphere of the shops, I am expanding into the wool arena with Wooly Block Adventure 2016. The adventure is very much like Row by Row Experience, but focuses on wool shops and quilts shops that also carry wool. I am introducing the WBA Pilot Program in 5 states this spring: DE, MD, NJ, NY and PA. My plan is to fine tune the event and open it up to all shops in the US and Canada in 2017. Registration for WBA is open now. The event runs March 21-May 31 for consumers. For more information, or to register a shop in one of the 5 states, visit this link. Looking forward to the fun of a new adventure!”

And finally, member Jane LaFazio has some very exciting news to report.

“I’ve been invited to be a guest on The Quilt show, hosted by Alex Anderson and Ricky Timms. I’ll be interviewed and do two demos, all in front of a live audience. I fly to Denver, Colorado for filming March 7. ”
