I know a few people who come in and don’t specify why they are here. And vice versa. I know the process for me to teach in the US legally is onerous and expensive. I don’t think it is quite that bad coming this way though. But yes, permission is required to do it legally. I know an immigration lawyer if you need one.

Taxes, licenses, and all that boring accounting work. For example, most municipalities have rules about licenses for all businesses, even home based. And put aside your taxes from the start!

As a CL viewer, I have to second that. The live option is great. And there is such a variety of classes.

I’m loving Periscope! I do think it needs to evolve a bit more – too many people still just talking about how to use it and get more followers. And so many people still don’t know it exists.

I don’t buy a lot of craft magazines, but I do get Modern Patchwork and American Quilt Retailer. That may have something to do with writing for them… I’m not one to buy a magazine because of the projects though. I would rather read it.
