I must be getting old and grumpy, but I saw those drink stirrers and thought “great, more pointless plastic crap to end up in our oceans”. Here’s hoping JOANN uses Glowforge power for good, and not evil.

I love these designs! I can see why they’d become an addiction (in a good way) and you’d have to keep adding to your collection.
What is “TNNA” that you refer to?

Kirsty Cleverly replied to the topic How do you sell PDFs? in the forum Business Questions 5 years, 6 months ago
I sell quilt pattern PDFs on my own website with SendOwl. SendOwl has VAT functionality and also “stamps” the bottom of each page of the PDF with the seller’s email address, which discourages piracy (apparently? It would dissuade me, but given some of the emails I’ve had from quilt guilds, I’m not so sure :- )
The only time I tend to have…[Read more]

Kirsty Cleverly commented on the post, Pricing Comparison of Email Marketing Service Providers 6 years ago
I switched from MailChimp to ConvertKit after I went past the free 2000 subscribers. I wanted to use multiple, free PDF opt-ins to grow my list and ConvertKit made that really easy – I couldn’t figure out how to […]

Kirsty Cleverly replied to the topic What newsletter platform do you use…and why? in the forum Business Questions 7 years, 2 months ago

It’s true the emails aren’t as pretty as Mailchimp, but pretty isn’t the only goal – delivery and open/click rates are very important and I’m happy with…[Read more]

Kirsty Cleverly commented on the post, Identifying & Creating Color Trends for Craft 7 years, 4 months ago
That’s so interesting – I just bought a set of nesting bowls purely because the colours were so pretty together. I think I’ll use those colours to make a quilt now so I’ll be ready for the trend next year!

Kirsty Cleverly replied to the topic Anyone want to talk on-line sales funnel? in the forum Business Questions 7 years, 4 months ago
I am just starting a funnel – but most of the opinions out there suggest that your funnel emails (automated email series that goes out once someone signs on) need to be geared toward what you are selling. So if you are selling sewing workshops aimed at beginners, you want your emails to be filled with things that help (big one, they must be…[Read more]

The website is so impressive, even more so now I know you did the majority of it yourselves.
Like many I started on blogger and then migrated to WP, I hired someone to do the migration and then a subsequent […] -
