Dispute that with your credit card. I’ve found my credit card company, and even my local bank with my debit card once, to be very helpful. Let the company know that if you don’t get a refund in a certain amount of time, you’ll be disputing it. That may spur them into action because a chargeback is worse for them than simply refunding your money.

I have all payments upfront. There is only one store that has asked me to invoice her, and I still have not received payment for that after sending 3 payment reminders. Ugh. Never again. My average wholesale order is only about $60, so I don’t feel like that’s too much to be asking for payment upfront. I’m not with distributors yet.

I was told that you CAN hang things from the supplied pipe, but what you CAN’T do is pin things to the supplied drape or remove the supplied drape and replace with your own. Also, the side walls are only 3 feet tall, so you would most likely want to rent additional pipes and drapes, bring your own, or build your own walls.

I agree that buying your own number is somewhat of a racket. There really isn’t anything wrong with buying from a reseller. They basically just have their own company prefix (the first 6-9 digits of the UPC code) & are selling the product IDs under their unique company prefix. Yes, I would prefer to do some sort of royalty or licensing. I’m not worried about a long term working relationship with this person. But I have no idea what would be fair as far as a royalty goes. Is there a certain percentage that is normal? Are there sample contracts floating around on the interwebs somewhere that can give me a starting point?
