I just listened to the podcast you recommended, Abby. It was very helpful! I am currently working on selling my pillow business myself and the listings on Quiet Light Brokerage were helpful in the wording. Thanks for your response. What little I’ve done reading online about Etsy wholesale has been more negative than positive—for exactly the reason you mentioned. I’m 99% sure I won’t go that route, but still unsure about what to do!

Currently, I receive wholesale requests via Facebook and Etsy. For each request, I copy and paste information from my notes. It works, but I want to take things to the next level.

I’ve done a few pillow giveaways on my IG account. To enter, you have to tag 2-3 other people and follow my IG account, so it’s pretty simple. I usually get between 20-30 new followers during each giveaway. I might lose a few after the giveaway, but not many, so that is a positive for getting new eyes on my products. I contacted Accuquilt and their customer service is top notch! After emailing my designs, they quoted the custom dies price ranging from $150-195. If $1500 of custom dies are purchased, the GrandeMark 2 (same machine as the Studio Pro 2, just a different name) is free. I’m waiting for a price quote for custom dies on the Accuquilt. I didn’t realize the Sizzix did custom work too. Thanks, and I will check it out. I will try and report back when I get more information.
