What is Craft Industry Alliance?

We’re a trusted source of industry information, creative inspiration, and community for craft professionals. Through our educational resources, we help our members build viable businesses, and build community within the craft industry.

What if my business is brand new?

Our members operate businesses of all sizes. You’ll find sole proprietors working alone at home or at a studio, retail shops that have many employees, and manufacturers with warehouses and offices. Whether you’re just launching a business, or have been in the industry for decades, you’ll be welcome in our community.

Can I join if my business is outside the USA?

Yes! Our community is open to craft industry professionals all over the world. Some of our legal resources (eg: copyright, taxes) are most applicable to US-based businesses. Overall, we keep content applicable to a global community of craft professionals.

Will my membership auto-renew?

Yes, all memberships will renew automatically, unless you decide to cancel. Members are welcome to cancel anytime. If your business has grown, and you’d like to move to a new membership tier, you can adjust your account at any time.

How do I cancel my membership?

Cancelling is easy, and takes less than a minute. Visit the subscription tab of your account page to find the cancel button. You can also email hello@craftindustryalliance.org for assistance. Account changes must be made before your auto-renewal date. Contact us within 14 days of your auto-renewal to request a refund.

Is there a jurying process?

Not at this time. When you join Craft Industry Alliance, you’ll be required to submit your business name, contact and billing information, and a few stats on how you run your businesses.
