Bio

Bright colors, subtle colors, all colors inspire me to create beautiful hand-dyed yarns. Having a flock of Corriedale sheep pushed me to learn to dye to use that beautiful wool; now the sheep are gone, but the love of dyeing goes on.
I live (and dye) in the beautiful driftless area of southern Wisconsin; previously I have co-owned two yarn shops, which helps me to look at yarn from both the wholesale and the retail side. My favorite dyeing activity is creating exclusive colorways for shops, or for shop events.
