Proud Canadian living in St Paul Minnesota. Retired early from a stressful job in the IT sector and rediscovered my passion for sewing. I’m having a ball making bags, pouches, purses, backpacks, wallets and all manner of practical and just downright fun handmade household items. I started selling on Etsy a few years ago just for fun money but I would greatly like to amp up my productivity and make a go at selling my creations full time. My plan is to develop a more regular sewing routine in 2024 to increase inventory, and work harder at learning about and using free marketing through social media. I’m also considering selling at craft fairs however, I feel like to do this properly, some initial investment for booth equipment and decor is needed and I’m not quite there yet. I’m excited to Join the Craft Industry Alliance to learn and share with creative and talented crafters.
