Bio

Jennifer Davies learned to knit from her mother as a child, and while she went on to work in public education for more than 25 years, as an environmental educator, she was knitting up projects (especially hats!) as she went.
By repurposing aluminum knit & crochet tools, starting in 2010, Jennifer honors the history of fiber arts while encouraging wise use of our natural resources- both passions of hers! In utilizing these treasures, she is creating jewelry, and accessories, that are not only visually captivating but also imbued with a sense of nostalgia and character.

Jennifer is a resident artist at Gallery on the Square in Danville, Indiana where she and her family are caretakers on a 200 acre natural area. Her shows and classes have taken her from the county fair sheep barns to Vogue Knitting and from coast to coast. Classes and custom work are both available!
