If you’re ready to grow your wholesale business, you’ll need to create a wholesale linesheet to facilitate orders from retail shop owners. A linesheet outlines your product offerings in a straightforward way, and highlights your wholesale terms for selling directly to retail shops. Linesheets are important to send in an introductory email when you’re reaching out to retail shop owners who might carry your work. You could also print out linesheets to bring to craft shows or tradeshows, to offer to retail shop owners on the spot. You can combine this linesheet with a more stylized product catalog or lookbook for added impact.
The PDF linesheet and wholesale terms sheets that I designed for Craft Industry Alliance are editable in Adobe Photoshop or in Acrobat Pro.
To edit the document in Photoshop, you’ll use the layers panel to make the sample content visible, and then use the text tool to input your own business/product information. You can use the place tool to insert your own product photos into the sheet, replacing the sample products I’ve included. When you’ve completed the form, save it as a PDF, prioritizing a small file size.
To edit in Adobe Acrobat Pro, fill out the highlighted sections of the sheet as a form, and save it as a PDF. To add photos, click on the sample product images. A dialog box will pop up, allowing you to insert your own product image ⏤ the template works best with photos scaled to 600×740 pixels.
