OLFA has launched a new charitable initiative intended to help support creative endeavors in diverse communities throughout the US. Called OLFA Builds Diversity, the program will gift OLFA cutting solutions to individuals, organizations, classrooms, and training programs that demonstrate a focus on creative and professional skill development for people from diverse backgrounds.
“For more than 50 years, OLFA’s mission has been to produce and deliver the world’s best cutting solutions,” says Jason Feldner, Director and General Manager of OLFA North America. “We wish to inspire creativity in a universally accessible and useful manner. And when we say we want to put the best cutting solutions in the hands of everyone we mean everyone.”
The deadline for submissions for the inaugural program will be May 30. There is a brief, straightforward application for organizations to fill out to be considered for the gift and recipients will be advised by June 15.
Craft Industry Alliance also welcomes OLFA as a new corporate member of the organization.
